Embedding your class schedule on a Wix site

How to show your studio's live TelosGym class schedule on a Wix site using Wix's own HTML embed element — no plugin or code changes needed, just your embed key and two lines of markup.

TelosGym's class-schedule widget is a lightweight, dependency-free piece of JavaScript, so it already works on Wix via Wix's own HTML embed element — no app to install and no code changes needed on your side.

Get an embed key

  1. In your TelosGym staff dashboard, go to Settings → External embeds → Create key.
  2. For Site URL, enter your site's actual published Wix domain — for example https://www.yourstudio.com, or your yoursite.wixsite.com/yourstudio address if you haven't connected a custom domain yet.

Don't use the Wix Editor's preview URL. The key only works from the exact origin it was created for.

Add the embed to a Wix page

This is the code you'll paste — replace YOUR_EMBED_KEY with the key from the step above:

<div data-telos-schedule data-key="YOUR_EMBED_KEY"></div>
<script src="https://studioos-production-c31b.up.railway.app/static/public-schedule-widget.js"></script>
  1. In the Wix Editor, click Add Elements (+) → Embed → Embed a Widget, and choose HTML iframe (sometimes labelled Custom Embeds → HTML Embed).
  2. Drag it onto the page, then click Enter Code.
  3. Paste in the two lines above.
  4. Click Update, then resize the embed box on the page. Wix's HTML embed has a fixed height that you set by hand — it doesn't grow with the content. A good starting point is 500–700px on desktop. Check on mobile too, since the box won't adjust its height automatically as your class list changes from day to day.
  5. Publish the site, then load the live (published) page and confirm the schedule renders.

Why won't it show in Preview? Wix's Editor Preview runs on a different domain from your published site, so the widget won't authenticate there — it looks like an origin mismatch. Always check on the real published URL.

What this does and doesn't do

  • Display and link-out only — the same model as every other TelosGym embed. Each class shows a Book link to your TelosGym-hosted booking page; no booking or payment happens inside Wix itself.
  • Runs entirely in your visitor's browser. Nothing is proxied through Wix's servers, and nothing beyond the normal brief response cache is stored by TelosGym.

Reskinning

You can change the colours, font and corner radius the same way as any other embed: set the widget's CSS custom properties on the <div> itself using an inline style attribute. (Wix doesn't offer a colour-picker for this the way the WordPress plugin does.)

<div data-telos-schedule data-key="YOUR_EMBED_KEY" style="--telos-accent:#2563eb;"></div>
  • --telos-accent: Buttons, links and "spots left"
  • --telos-font: Font family
  • --telos-bg: Card background
  • --telos-text: Body text colour
  • --telos-radius: Corner rounding

Display options

Two more settings live alongside your embed keys under Settings → External embeds. They apply to every embed of your schedule everywhere — no changes needed on the Wix side:

  • Show studio name — on by default. Turn it off if the schedule is embedded on your own site, where repeating your studio's name in the widget header is redundant.
  • Spaces shown as — either "12 spots left" (the default, shows the exact number) or "Spaces Available" (no number shown). A fully-booked class always shows Full either way.

Changes typically show up within about 45 seconds of saving.

Troubleshooting

Nothing renders / blank box
Almost always an origin mismatch: the key's registered Site URL doesn't match the page's actual published domain. Re-check it under Settings → External embeds.

Works in Preview but not once published (or vice versa)
Expected — see step 5 above. Wix's Editor Preview and your published site are different origins.

Schedule is cut off, or leaves extra empty space
Adjust the HTML embed box's fixed height (step 4). Wix doesn't size it automatically.
