Your attendance report explained

Check-ins over time, your busiest hours, and how full your classes are — and why attendance means check-ins.

The Attendance tab on the Reporting page shows how busy your studio is: who's coming through the door, when, and how full your classes are. It appears if Check-in or Classes is switched on in Settings → Modules — you'll see the check-ins section, the classes section, or both.

What "attendance" means here

Attendance is counted from check-ins — someone being checked in at reception, by scan or member number (see Checking members in at reception).

TelosGym doesn't record a "no-show" on a booking. So if someone booked a class and wasn't checked in, the report can't tell whether they didn't turn up or just weren't scanned at the desk.

Check-ins

  • Check-ins: Every check-in in the date range
  • Walk-ins: Check-ins for using the gym, not tied to a class
  • Class check-ins: Check-ins against a class someone had booked
  • Unique members: How many different people checked in — someone who came 12 times counts once here

The Check-ins chart shows the total per day, week or month. Busiest hours adds up check-ins by hour of day across the whole range — handy for planning staff cover or when to run a new class. Hover over a bar to see its exact count.

Classes

This covers every class scheduled to start in the date range. Cancelled classes are left out, and so are cancelled bookings.

  • Classes run: How many classes took place
  • Places booked: Bookings out of the total places available
  • Fill rate: Places booked ÷ places available — how full your classes are
  • Check-in rate: Members checked in ÷ places booked — how many of the people who booked were checked in

The Classes table breaks this down by class type, fullest first — for example, whether your 6am HIIT is fuller than your evening yoga. Each row shows sessions, booked, capacity, fill rate, and members checked in with their check-in rate.

💡 A low check-in rate usually means one of two things: members booking and not turning up, or the front desk not checking class members in. If you want to use this number to spot no-shows, make sure everyone attending a class gets checked in at reception.

Exporting

Export CSV gives you one row per class, with its date and time, instructor, capacity, bookings and check-ins. If your studio doesn't use Classes, you get check-ins per period instead. See Exporting reports to a spreadsheet.
