Getting started with Reporting
Who can see the Reporting page, how to choose dates, and what each of the three reports covers.
The Reporting page shows how your studio is doing over any date range you choose — money coming in, how busy you are, and how many members you're keeping. It's under the Business heading in the menu.
Who can see it
Reporting is its own access area, so you decide who gets it. The studio owner always has it.
- Revenue: Reporting and Payments & Billing — the same money figures as the Payments page, so they stay with whoever can already see those
- Attendance: Reporting
- Membership churn: Reporting
That means you can give a manager Reporting on its own to keep an eye on attendance and retention without showing them the takings. Anyone without Reporting doesn't see the menu item at all. See Adding staff and a reception login for how to tick access areas.
A tab is also hidden if your studio doesn't use that part of TelosGym (Settings → Modules):
- Attendance appears if Check-in or Classes is switched on.
- Membership churn appears if Memberships is switched on.
Choosing dates
Pick a preset — Last 7 days, Last 30 days (the default), This month, Last month, Last 90 days or This year — or type your own From and To dates. Both dates are included, and a range can be up to about three years long.
Charts group the figures automatically so they stay readable:
- Up to 31 days: a day
- Up to about 6 months: a week (weeks start on Monday, labelled "w/c")
- Longer: a month
Hover over (or tap) any bar to see its exact figure. The table under each chart has every number too.
💡 Days run midnight to midnight in your studio's time zone, which the owner sets under Settings → General → Time zone & trading day.
Exporting
Export CSV downloads the tab you're looking at, for the dates you've chosen, as a file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. See Exporting reports to a spreadsheet for what's in each file.
The three reports
- Your revenue report explained — what you've taken, where it came from, and card vs manual.
- Your attendance report explained — check-ins, your busiest hours, and how full your classes are.
- Membership churn explained — new members, cancellations and your churn rate.
Shop sales have their own detailed report on Products & Stock → Sales — see Viewing shop sales and exporting them.
