Your revenue report explained
What the Revenue tab counts, where the money came from, card vs manual, and how refunds are shown.
The Revenue tab on the Reporting page shows the client payments your studio has taken over the dates you choose. You need both the Reporting and Payments & Billing access areas to see it — see Getting started with Reporting.
The headline figures
- Revenue: Every payment that went through in the date range — card and manual together. Payments still pending, that failed, or that were voided aren't counted.
- Payments: How many payments that was.
- Average payment: Revenue ÷ payments.
- Refunded: Shop refunds made in the range.
Refunds are shown alongside revenue, not taken off it — the same way the Payments page shows them. If you want takings after refunds, subtract Refunded from Revenue.
💡 For the same dates, the Revenue tab and the Payments page always agree — they read the same payments.
The chart
One bar per day, week or month (depending on how long your range is), showing that period's revenue. Hover over a bar for the exact amount. The Revenue by day / week / month table further down lists every period, newest first, with its refunds next to it.
By source
Where the money came from:
- Memberships: Payments for a membership or day pass
- PT packages: Personal training session packages
- Body composition: Body composition plans
- Class drop-ins: Paying for a single class
- Shop: Sales at the Quick Sale till
- Other manual payments: A manual payment you recorded that isn't linked to any of the above — for example cash for a one-off PT session
Each row shows the number of payments, the total, and its share of your revenue.
If your studio uses the Shop and you have the Stock & Products access area, View shop sales → takes you to the line-by-line shop report — see Viewing shop sales and exporting them.
By method
- Card — paid by card: online, on a card reader, or taken at the till as a card sale.
- Manual — anything recorded by staff: cash, bank transfer, another payment app, or "other".
Worth knowing
- Card membership renewals appear automatically each time Stripe collects one, dated the day the money was taken and counted under Memberships. The amount is what the member actually paid, so it can differ from the membership's list price if tax or a discount applies. Manual membership payments show every time you record one.
- This is your studio's income only. What you pay TelosGym for your own subscription is never mixed in.
- Export CSV gives you one row per period with a column for each source — see Exporting reports to a spreadsheet.
