When a member also uses another studio on TelosGym

Some of your members will also train with an independent trainer who has their own TelosGym account. When that happens the member keeps one login and uses the same client app for both.

You don't need to do anything. This article explains what you'll see, and what you won't.

What the member sees

Once someone belongs to more than one studio, a Switch studio list appears at the top of the client app's menu. They tap the studio they want and the app switches over to it. Each studio keeps its own timetable, membership, programme, messages and packages, so nothing from the other studio shows up in yours.

The member gets push notifications from both studios, and tapping one opens the studio it came from.

What you can see

Only your own studio. You can't see that a member trains with an independent trainer, and the trainer can't see anything about their membership with you. There's no shared view and nothing for you to switch on.

What's shared

Only things that belong to the person rather than to a studio:

• Their login. Changing their password, or the email address they sign in with, changes it everywhere they use TelosGym, because it's one login.
• Their age check. The 18+ check for chat is done once for the person, so a member who has already verified elsewhere isn't asked again. See Age verification explained.

Member numbers, waivers, inductions, memberships and payments stay with the studio that recorded them.

If you revoke someone's access

Removing a member's client-app access removes them from your studio only. If they use another studio, their login carries on working there.

If your studio closes

Members who also belong to another studio keep their login and that other studio. They lose access to yours. Members who only belonged to your studio are signed out as before. See What happens when your studio closes.

Things that can look odd

• A member says they have two logins. That happens when they use a different email address in each place, because TelosGym can only join them up by email. Asking them to use the same address at both fixes it going forward.
• A member's gym induction doesn't carry over. Inductions belong to the studio. An independent trainer doesn't use inductions at all, so a member can chat with their independent trainer with just the age check.
